Current situation of the teaching of optional track and field class in ordinary universities and colleges in Zhejiang Province

The author investigated and analyzed the situation of optional track and field class opened in 12 ordinary universities and colleges in Zhejiang province,and revealed the following finding: The quality and enjoyable nature of track and field games launched by the universities and colleges are affected,since the universities and colleges which do not open a track and field class currently are confronted with a drop of track and field sports level. Accordingly,the author brought forward corresponding countermeasures in relation to how ordinary universities and colleges should open a track and field class,so as to boost the development of track and field sports level in universities and colleges.
