Abstract
Objective To detect the expression level of Cyclin E protein in tissues of breast cance. Then to investigate the relationship between the expression of Cyclin E and the occurrence、metastasis and recurrence of breast cancer. Methods The expression level of Cyclin E protein in 69 breast cancer patients was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results The expression rate in 69 tissuses of breast cancer was 47.8%.The expression level of Cyclin E protein had a positive correlation with the clinical stage and metastasis. There was a significance difference with the expression level in different clinical stage patients(χ2=8.154,P0.05).The expression rate in patients with lymphaden metastasis was 64.52%.It was much higher than that in patients no metastas is 36.84%.The significance difference was showed between those patients who had lymphaden metastasis and those who had no(χ2=5.231,P0.05).Conclusion The findings show us that the expression of Cyclin E could be one of useful index to predict the lymphaden metastasis and the recurrence of breast carcinoma.
