Abstract

Objective To study the relationship between the expression of bcl-2,bax,p53 protein and the clinical pathological characteristics of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods Expressions of bcl-2,bax and p53 protein were detected in 55 NSCLC samples by immunohistochemistry. Results The positive rate of bcl-2,bax and p53 protein was 56.36% (31/55),63.64% (35/55) and 65.45% (36/55) respectively; The positive rate of bcl-2 in higher differentiation group was significantly higher than that in lower differentiation group(P0.05).The positive rate of p53 in higher differentiation group was significantly lower than that in lower differentiation group(P0.05).The positive rate of p53 was related to lymph node metastasis(P0.05); Positive rate of bcl-2,bax and p53 protein was not related to the pathological type. Conclusion Over-expression of bcl-2,bax and p53 protein may play an important role in the oncogenesis and development of NSCLC.
