Abstract
Objective To understand the positive rate of syphilis antibody and the distribution of syphilis among inpatients, and provide rational basis for the prevention and control of syphilis.Method Do preliminary screening detection by ELISA method for the samples, and make a definite diagnosis by TPPA method for the positive patients. Results Among the 4 800 detected patients,46 cases were positive, with a positive rate of 0.96%,including 23 men and 23 women. Conclusions The infection rate of syphilis among inpatients was high at present, thus it was necessary to detect syphilis antibody for patients,so as to provide scientific basis for timely detection and treatment, and control of the spread of syphilis.
