Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between the level of the plasma Hcy levels and the extent of coronary artery disease in type 2 diabetic patients. Methods A retrospective analysis of the cardiovascular internal medicine of the third people's hospital in Yunnan province has coronary angiography examination of 120 patients with type 2 diabetes from July 2012 to October 2013.Frist,patients were divided into control group,1 lesion group,2 lesions group and 3 lesions group by the extent and range of coronary stenosis;Second, patients by rate of coronary artery disease were divided into low, medium and high groups.According to the coronary artery lesions involving the scope, the severity of coronary artery lesion score.Analysis of the relationship among plasma Hcy,smoking, age, blood glucose, blood lipid and other clinical biochemical indexes and coronary artery disease. Results Plasma Hcy rose along with the deterioration of the coronary artery lesion severity, plasma Hcy of 3 lesion group and 2 lesion were higher than that of 1 lesion group, plasma Hcy of high scores group and medium scores group were higher than that of low scores group, the difference were statistically significant(P0.05);Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the plasma Hcy was associated with coronary artery lesions(P0.05).Conclusion Plasma Hcy levels and type 2 diabetes is associated with the degree of coronary artery lesions.
