Abstract
Transgenic animals have been applied to all areas of life sciences.It has comprehensive application especially in the bioreactor,drug screening,xenotransplantation,improved varieties and improved production performance of animals and other aspects.In this paper,we described the history of the transgenic technology and the state of the development,several traditional methods of transgenic technology was introduced,some new transgenic technologies of focus on improve transgenic efficiency and precise control in recent years.In addition,research status of transgenic technology in cattle breeding and the application and development prospect of cultivate new varieties by transgenic technology in cattle breeding and biopharmaceutical application and prospect and other fields of research in the future.
