Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety treatment for IgA nephropathy presented non-nephrotic syndrome with Tripterygium Glycosides. Methods An open, randomized and controlled clinical trial was performed.78 patients with IgA nephropathy presented non-nephrotic syndrome were randomly divided into two groups. There were 40 patients in control group received Benazepril combined Valsartan, and the other 38 patients in treatment group received Tripterygium Glycosides on the base of treatment of Benazepril combined Valsartan.Clinical data were observed and evaluated in the 1st,3rd and 6th months. Results After receiving Tripterygium Glycosides therapy, the proteinuria in the treatment group decreased significantly(P0.01);serum albumin increased significantly(P0.05).The complete relieving rate was 63.2%;The total efficient rate was 89.5%.Contracted with Benazepril combined Valsartan, the efficiency of Tripterygium Glycosides on treating IgA nephropathy presented non-nephrotic syndrome was statistically different(P0.05).The patients in treatment group had less adverse and better compliance. Conclusions Tripterygium Glycosides is one of the choices for treating IgA nephropathy presented non-nephrotic syndrome.
