Abstract
To investigate the proportion of increasing squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCCAg) in patients with inflammation and tumor,in order to explore its auxiliary diagnosis for clinic, the data of 300 increasing SCCAg patients in hospital from January to April in 2008 were analyzed retrospectively with CHISS.The results showed that the patients with tumor were 68% and the non-tumor patients were 32% in all 300 increasing SCCAg samples. The values of SCCAg increased had significantly statistics difference in two groups(P0.01),especially in the range of 3.6~5.0 ng/mL(P0.05).The increasing SCCAg had much more significance in tumor patients than non-tumors patients. The SCCAg in the range of 3.6~5.0 ng/mL could be used to differentiate patients with tumors and without tumors. The SCCAg was not a specific tumor marks, could be also increased in non tumor patients.
