On the Application of VLAN in Campus Network

Abstract

A VLAN permits a group of users to share a common broadcast domain regardless of their physical location in the Internet work.Creating VLANS improves performances and security in the switched network by controlling broadcast propagation.This paper introduces the basic capabilities that VLANS offer,combining with the example of Digital China's switch.
