Application of VLAN Technology in LAN

In the local area network,there are many supporting network communication necessary to broadcast information,such as ARP,DHCP radio broadcast and some common network application generated broadcast.These broadcast traffic throughout the broadcast domain communication,all the hosts in the domain can be received,but the broadcast target is often a single host,the certain network bandwidth and system resources would be wasted,the network performance is affected.This article mainly elaborates in the local area network using VLAN technology to reduce the network broadcast traffic,in order to improve the efficiency of communication network.
