Abstract

Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of the nutritional support for ICU patients. Methods: 80 cases of ICU patients were randomly divided into nutrition group(40 cases) and the control group(40 cases),the control group received routine antibiotics, oxygen therapy and symptomatic treatment correcting acid;and on the basis of routine treatment, the nutrition group also received nutrition support, according to needs to supplement energy, vitamins and minerals. Results: The duration of mechanical ventilation nutrition, serum albumin, lymphocyte count and body mass index than the control group(P0.05),the incidence of gastric retention, astriction, aspiration pneumonia, stress ulcer and death were lower compared with the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: ICU patients with severe conventional therapy are added nutritional support, can increase the plasma protein concentration, increase body mass, thereby enhancing the therapeutic effect of cardiopulmonary failure.
