Abstract
The root powder of Stellera chamaejasme was extracted with chloroform. The crude extract obtained was chromatographed with silica gel columns several times. One pure compound was obtained. It was identified as 2,6,10,15,19,23-hexamethyl-2,6,10,14,18,22-tetracosahexaene(squalene).Its insecticidal activity against Aphis craccivora and Leucania separata was determined. The results showed that it had good insecticidal activity against them. Its median lethal concentration(LC50)(24 h after treatment) was 18.0 mg·L-1 and 12.7 mg·L-1,respectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
