Abstract
In this work, the styrene-butyl acrylate emulsion was synthesized through emulsion polymerization. Based on the same formulation components and the same synthetic process, in the reaction polymerization, the amount of the initiator, the quantity of the acidic monomers, the mixture ratio of the emulsifier system and the pH value were changed for investigating the changes in viscosity and water-resistance of the emulsions.
