Abstract
Xiang Ying was one of the important leaders of the Communist Party of China.He played an important part in the history of the Communist Party of China and Chinese revolutionary history.He devoted his life to the Chinese revolution and deserved to be called a remarkable communist soldier.Nevertheless,coming from a worker's family,Xiang Ying didn't have enough knowledge and high theoretical level,so sometimes it was inevitable for him to make some mistakes in the war.Compared with his remarkable contribution all his life,his faults were very tiny.But some comrades of us violated the principles of historical materialism and totally ignored the historical facts of his enormous contribution.This paper makes some comments on Xiang Ying's status and position during the three extremely hard and bitter years of guerrilla war in South China.
