Zheng Guan ying, a thinker in modern China, was a unique commercial capitalist. He proposed a lot of resolutions on reforming the political, economic, educational system and so on in China in his work The Motto of Golden Age, which had a profound impact on China's Westernization Movement and the Reform Movement. Although his educational thoughts have come into being over 100 years, they still have meaning of realistic guidance today.
