Abstract
Xiang Ying is one of the important leaders of the Communist Party of China.He played an important part in the history of the Communist Party of China and Chinese revolutionary history.He gave his life for Chinese revolution and deserved to be called a remarkable communist soldier.Nevertheless,coming from a worker's family,Xiang Ying didn't have enough knowledge and high theoretical level,so sometimes it is unavoidable for him to make some mistakes in the war.Compared with his remarkable contribution all his life,his faults were so tiny.But some comrades of us violated the principles of historical materialism and totally ignored the historical facts of his enormous contribution.This paper makes some comments on Xiang Ying's status and position during the three extremely hard and bitter years of guerrilla in South China.
