Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of low-dose omeprazole on functional dyspepsia( FD). Methods The 160 patients with FD in Nanlang hospital of Zhongshan were divided into study group and control group, with 80 cases in each group. Low-dose of omeprazole was orally given in study group, and domperidone combined with esomeprazole was orally given in control group. Results There were no significant differences in the improvement of symptoms or treatment effect between the two groups( all P 0. 05). The incidence of adverse events was significantly lower in study group than that in control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Low-dose omeprazole has good effect on FD,has the advantages of instant effect, less adverse reactions, symptoms improved significantly, and is safe and reliable,it is worthy promoting for clinical application.
