Abstract

Objective To analyze the clinical effective of intrude the maxillary incisors with microscrew anchorage. Methods Totally 21 patients with deepbite were divided into two groups,in microscrew group, microscrews were implanted into each side between the lateral incisor and the canine, near the roots.Connected the microscrew and the incisor with elastometric chain,100g force each side was applied immediately, changed the elastometric chain every 4 weeks. In J-hook headgear group, elastomeric rings and J-hook were used to connect the incisors and headgear,100g force per side.Compared the degree of the incisor intrusion before and after treatment. Results In microscrew group, the average distance of the incisor intrusion was 3.51mm,in J-hook headgear group,it was 2.47mm.There was a significant difference between the two groups. Conclusions With stabile capability, affirm curative effect, and easy operation, the microscrews implant was an ideal anchorage to intrude the maxillary incisors.
