The observation of therapeutical effect of carvedilol in 89 chronic congestive heart failure patients

Objective To investigate therapeutical effect of Carvedilol in chronic congestive heart failure.Methods 89 chronic congestive heart failure patients were involved in retrospective studyand,they were divided into two groups according to whether given Carvedilol.The changes of heart function were compared after treatment.Results(1)After treatment,systolic pressure,diastolic pressure,left ventricular end-diastolic dimension,and left ventricular ejection fraction changed a lot,the heart function improved significantly(P0.05).(2)Compared with control group patients,the heart function of experiment group patients improved more after treatment,the differences were significant(P0.05).Conclusion On the base of common treatment of chronic congestive heart failure,the addition of carvedilol can improve heart function significantly.
