Clinical Study on Retention Enema with Qianliexiao Decoction Treating BPH

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical perspective of retention enema with Qianliexiao decoction on patients with BPH and overcome the shortcoming of lower effectiveness of oral drug.Method 60 patients were divided into two groups.The patients from group A were treated by retention enema with Qianliexiao decoction and patients from group B took terazosinum,longbishu capsules.Results The improvements of IPSS,QOL,and Ru in group A were significantly higher than those in group B.Conclusions The method is safe,effective and cheap.It is worth spreading in the treatment of BPH.
