Abstract

Objective To investigate ang evaluate the feasibility of simultaneous TURP(transurethral resection of prostate) combined with TURBT(transurethral resection of Superfieial bladder tumor). Methods Twenty patients with BPH and Superfieial bladder cancer were treated by TURP combined with TURBT.Results The follow-up period ranged from 13 to 50 months.the mean was 13 months,Recurrence occurred in 5 patients,There was no urethral or prostatic fossa implantation. Conclusion Simultaneous TURP combined with TURBT is an effective treatment, with little evidence of urethral or prostatic implantation.
