Abstract
The summit of poetry's creation is seeking for its imagery.Therefore,the most difficult part for the English translation of the ancient Chinese poetry is how to represent or recreate the identical or similar imagery in English translation as that in the original ones.So that readers in foreign countries could feel the beauty of the imagery and the deep connotative meaning hidden in the original poetry,understand the different culture and appreciate ancient Chinese poetry.It is also a good method to spread the broad and profound culture in our China.The translater should understand content and meaning deeply,use translation skill flexiblly,cooperate with conerete context,express the imagery exactly.
