Abstract
Chinese poetry,especially classical rhymed poems,focuses greatly on the construction of imagery,which is very different from western poetry.With traditional way of thinking with reasons in western society,western poets write poems with speculation even when writing beautiful poem lines,committed to the research of life's philosophy.It has become a hard task for translators to transfer imagery in Chinese poetry into English.
