Observation of the Effect of Therapeatic Effect of Comprehensive Treatment of Recrrent Candidal Balanoposthitis

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of oral fluconazole, topical use of triamcinolone acetonide and econazole vitrate cream and circumcision in the treatment of recurrent Candidal balanoposthitis.Methods Test group was treated with oral fluconazole capsules 200mg once per day for three days , topical triamcinolone acetonide and econazole vitrate cream were used twice per day for two weeks. After the clinical symptoms disappeared, circumcision was done. Control group was treated with oral fluconazole capsules 200mg,once per day for six days, topical triamcinolone acetonide and econazole vitrate cream were used twice perday for two weeks without circumcision. When the therapies were finished, the clinical efficacy was analyzed at the end of 2 weeks and recurrence was analyzed at the end of 2, 4, 6 months. Results After treatment for 2 weeks,the cure rates of two groups were 89.13% and 85.00% , there was no significant difference between them. The total rates of efficacy of two groups were 100.00% and 95.00%, no significant difference between them either. After 2, 4, 6 months, the rates of recurrence of test group were 4.88%,9.76%,9.76%, those of control group were 23.53%,38.24%,50.00%,there was significant difference between them(P0.05). Conclusion Oral flucona zole capsules,topical use of triamcinolone acetonide and econazole vitrate cream and combination with circumcision in the treatment of recurrent Candidal balanoposthitis is effective and safe,it can also decrease recurrence remarkably.
