Probe of Medical College English Teaching between essential English and professional English

Abstract

College English teaching objective is to improve the ability of the students to use English.Professional English is still language-centered,expected to help students reach a goal in learning to improve their English proficiency and to acquire professional knowledge for specific purposes.This paper illustrates the teaching objective for Essential English and Medical English.Combined with teaching practice,the paper envisages the teaching transition.
