Analysis on results of leukocyte and erythrocyte by urinary sediment analyzer and manual method

Objective: To study the value of AVE-763B urinary sediment analyzer detection of leukocyte and erythrocyte and its influencing factors.Methods: 1 530 middle segment of early morning urinary were detected with urinary sediment analyzer and compared with manual microscopic examination.Results: Microscopic examination as the gold standard,false positive rate of erythrocyte was 12.7%;false positive rate of leukocyte was 9.5% by AVE-763B urinary sediment analyzer in 1 530 cases patients.The results of leukocyte and erythrocyte detected by AVE-763B urinary sediment analyzer manual microscopic examination were similar,there was no significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion: AVE-763B urinary sediment analyzer is helpful to urine sediment standardized detection.However,urine analyzer is vulnerable to a variety of factors,therefore,it needs to be done with the microscopic examination.
