Abstract
Objective To explore the importance of microscope examination in detection of red blood cell in urine with urine dry chemistry analyzer and automatic sediment analyzer. Methods 800 cases of fresh morning urine were randomly collected and the content of red blood cell in urine was detected by using microscopy, dry chemistry analyzer and automatic urine sediment analyzer respectively. The results were analyzed and compared. Results The positive rate of red blood cell was 31. 3% with dry chemistry analyzer method,27% with urine erythrocyte sediment analyzer and 21% with urine sediment microscopic examination. The false positive rate for dry chemical method and sediment analyzer method in the detection of urinary red blood cell were 10. 6% and9%,and the false negative were 2. 7% and 2. 5% respectively. Conclusion When the red cells result in samples is abnormal, the microscopic examination must be used for abnormal specimens detection to confirm the diagnosis, and strive to provide a more accurate test results for clinical to avoid misdiagnosis.
