Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of TRAIL to reverse the resistance to DDP of ovarian carcinoma cell line COC1/DDP.Methods:The growth inhibition of COC1/DDP cell line treated by different concentrations of TRAIL,and TRAIL combined with DDP was checked by MTT assay. The expression of DR4 and DR5 after treated with DDP was studied by RT-PCR technique. Results: ① Soluble TRAIL protein had the inhibiting effect to the growth COC1/DDP cells.②TRAIL increased significantly the growth-inhibiting ability of DDP to COC1/DDP cells.③DDP increased the expression of DR5 in COC1/DDP cells by 3.54 fold than control group. Conclusion:Soluble TRAIL has the effect to inhibit the growth of COC1/DDP cells. The combination use of TRAIL and DDP increases significantly the inhibiting ratio to COC1/DDP cells.TRAIL can overcome the DDP-resistance of COC1/DDP cell line.
