Abstract
Objective To review the therapeutic efficacy of treating trabeculectomy failure with compound trabeculectomy. Methods 58 eyes(40 cases) of trabeculectomy failure were treated with compound trabeculectomy. Results The follow-up was 15~26 months.The mean IOP after operation was(10.21±4.12)mmHG,significantly lower than the IOP preoperatively(36.62±9.02) mmHg(P0.05).Out of 58 eyes receiving reoperation,51 eyes got success,a rate of 87.93%.52 eyes had functioning blebs. Conclusion It is safe and effective of treating trabeculectomy failure with compound trabeculectomy.
