Abstract
Objective To study the effect of BCG-PSN on the patients with condyloma acuminatum(CA).Methods Double-antibody sandwich ELISA was used to study the serum levels of interleukin-10 (IL-10)and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ)in normal people and CA patient (before and after treatment with or without BCG-PSN).Results Before treatment, the serum levels of IL-10 were significantly higher, while the levels of IFN-γ were significantly lower than that in normal people. There was a significantly negative correlation between IL-10 and IFN-γ.After treatment, the levels of IL-10 in the BCG group were decreased while the levels of IFN-γ were increased. There was no significant changes in comparing group. Conclusion Treatment with BCG-PSN can adjust the unbalant cytokine production in CA patient.
