Observation of the effect of montelukast and budesonide on bronchial asthma

Objective To assess the clinical effect of montelukast and budesonide on bronchial asthma.Methods 102 cases with mild to moderate bronchial asthma were randomly divided into 4 group.Montelukast was given(oral dosage,10mg,once a day)in group A.Inhaled corticosteroid budesonide was given(400μg,once a day)in group B.Inhaled corticosteroid budesonide was given(400μg,once a day),and Montelukast was given(oral dosage,10mg,once a day)in group C.Inhaled corticosteroid budesonide was given(800μg,once a day)in group D.Results After treatment,the airway responsiveness histamine concentration(PC20)were significantly higher,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05),the situation improved of group C was better than the other groups,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05);The lun function of group C and group D were higher than before treatment,the differences were statistically siginficact(P0.05),and the stuatian improved were better than group A and group B,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Montelukast and budesonide could improve mild to moderate asthma in patients with dyspnea,cough,wheezing symptoms,lung function.It is a new type ofanti-inflammatory and anti-asthmatic drugs on bronchi-al asthma,with a good clinical value.
