Abstract

Objective: To observe the efficacy of Deanxit in auxiliary treatment of refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease. Methods: Ninety patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease were double-blindly and randomly divided into observation group and control group. All groups were treated with Rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated tablet( 10 mg qd),Mosapride dispersible tablet( 5 mg tid) and Hydrotalcite tablet( 0. 5 tid) for 4 weeks, and patients in observation group were treated with Deanxit( one tablet, bid) for 4 weeks additionally. The symptoms of heartburn, reflux, depression and anxiety were observed before and after treatments by using the GERD Questionnaire for Hamilton Depression Scale( HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale( HAMA),and the therapeutic effect were compared between two groups. Results:The total effective rate of two groups were 64. 4% and 95. 6%,respectively,and there was significant difference between two groups( P 0. 05). The scores of HAMD and HAMA were improved after treatments in two groups, but there was no significant difference in control group before and after treatments( P 0. 05). The scores of HAMD and HAMA decreased significantly in observation group than those of control group after treatments( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Deanxit can be considered as an effective therapeutic method for auxiliary treatment of refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease.
