Prevalence Investgation and Preventive Nursing of Helicobacter Pylori Infection in Children

Objective To analyze the prevalence of helicobacter pylori (HP) infection in children in Zhoushan city and the relationships between HP infection and gastric diseases so as to take further preventive nursing measures on the basis of these data.Methods Four hundred and sixty-five patients with gastritis were enrolled to undergo a retrospective analysis by pearson Test.The infection rates of HP in chronic gastritis(including mild,middle,severe grades ) were analyzed.The infection rates of HP in chronic non-active gastritis group(n=60),chronic active gastritis group(n=465),gastric ulcer group(n=36),duodenal ulcer group(n=112) were statistically analyzed.Results The total infection rate of HP was 40.4% in the 465 patients and the infection rates of HP in patients with gastritis were significantly increased with aggravating of gastritis(P0.01).HP infection analysis in different diseases indicated that the infection rates of HP in the duodenal ulcer,the gastric ulcer and the chronic gastritis were 96.4%,88.9% and 40.4%,respectively.There were significant statistical differences among them(P0.01).Conclusion The prevalence of HP infection was closely related to severity of gastritis,ulcer of stomach and duodenum in children.Active preventive nursing measures against HP infection routs and healthy dietary habits should be taken to reduce incidence of gastritis,duodenal ulcer and gastric ulcer.
