Abstract
The life of Hu Shi riches in his education theory. This paper introduces the theory and practice in higher education of Hu Shi before liberation from six perspectives. His higher education theory has exerted great influence on higher education practice at that time. Simultaneously, we can draw on the experience of his higher education theory for today's higher education.
