Abstract

Objective To explore preventing and management of cataract surgery's complications of ECCE and intraocular lenses implantation at work of preventing and treating blindness. Methods Retrospectively analyze complications of ECCE and intraocular lenses implantation at work of preventing and treating blindness Results the common complications of ECCE and IOL implantation were posterior capsular rupture in 15 eyes (6.4%), iris prolapse in 5 eyes (2.1%), iridodialysis in 3 eyes (1.3%),corneal edema in 45 eyes (19.1%), displacement of pupil in 10 eyes (4.3%), cortex remain in AC in 2 eyes (0.9%), cortex remain in post capsular in the middle of pupil in 2 eyes (0.9%),pupil-block glaucoma in 1 eye (0.4%),cystoid macular edema in 1 eye (0.4%). Conclusion The most common complications of cataract surgery are rupture of posterior capsular and cornea edema. Mastering basic contents of surgery is criterion for preventing complications
