Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of high-volume hemofiltration(HVHF) on the cytokines and Logistic organ dysfunction system(LODS) in the patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS) and to investigate the therapeutic action of HVHF for MODS.Methods The levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8 and the LODS scores in the patients with MODS undergoing HVHF were measured before and after HVHF respectively. Results The levels of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-8 and the LODS scores in the patients with MODS decreased after HVHF(t=12.37,14.55,10.20,13.43,respectively,P0.05).Conclusion HVHF could decrease the levels of inflammatory mediator and the LODS scores in the patients with MODS,and improve their survival rate.
