Abstract

Objective To investigate the superiority of high field MRI in the early diagnosis, activity evaluation of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Tweney-six patients with rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed by clinical from 2011 June to 2012 May were underwent bilateral wrist X-ray,CT,MRI,and the test results were analyzed. Results All the 52 wrist joint of 26 patients had bone erosion lesions, and the X-ray,CT,MRI were detected respectively: 13, 22,50.In the 50 joints with bone erosion change on MRI,95% confidence interval of synovial membrane thickness is 1.98mm to 4.10mm.And through statistical analysis of the relevant clinical indexes found that the thickness of synovitis have relationship with activity in RA patients. Conclusion MRI has a very important significance in the early imaging diagnosis in RA.In the early and activity stage,it is more sensitive than radiography and CT examination. MRI has certain value on activity assessment of RA.
