Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determinate the Salvianolic Acid A in Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae by HPLC.METHODS Luna C18(2)column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) was used with a mobile phase of 0.2% phosphoric acid-acetonitrile(76∶24) and The flow rate was 1.1 mL·min-1,detected at 285 nm.Temperature was 30℃. RESULTS The linearity of salvianolic acid A is in the range of 1.1-10.96 μg(r=0.999 6).The theoretical plate number is 5.5×10 3.The average recovery is 101%.The resolution of salvianolic acid A is very good, with a short retention time.CONCLUSION The established method is simple, reliable and suitable for the usual determination of salvianolic acid A.
