Abstract
The objective of this study was to establisha fast method for the determination of salvianolic acid in the extract of Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma.Using salvianolic acid B as a reference substance, the concentration of salvianolic acid in extract of Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma was determined by UV absorption at wavelength 482 nm.The linear relationship of salvianolic acid B was good in the ranges of 0.0782-1.0166 mg(r=0.9977).The average recovery was 101.652%and RSD was 0.81%(n=9).The concentration of salvianolic acid in the extract ofSalviae miltiorrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma was 19.636%.The method was simple, rapid and accurate for quality control of Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma.
