Abstract
It is an important opportunity to adjust and promote industrial structure in thetwelfth five-yearperiod.Based on the statistical analysis of the status of Chinese intra-industry trade and industrial structure, this paper tests the Pearson correlation coefficient between intra-industry trade and industrial structure rationalization and advancement respectively, and then regresses it by using dynamic panel data model. The empirical result shows that,intra-industry trade promotes industrial structure optimization significantly, but the effectiveness differs in various industries divided by technology value-added.The suggestion is that, the government should take how to promote intra-industry trade in different technology value-added industries in consideration while formulating industrial policies.
