Discussion on the Development of Hospital Ethics Committee

The history of the development for the hospital ethics committee in domestic and abroad was discussed.At present,the hospital ethics committee has a great effect on the development of the bioethics and the clinic practice of the medicine,such as ethical review,supervision and evaluation,and consultation and coordination.However,there are also some problems in terms of the limitation the development of the hospital ethics committee,therefore,the organization structuring,the running system and the operating procedure,and the function of the hospital ethics committee should be improved in the future.
