Analysis of reports of adverse drug reaction in our hospital

Objective To analyse the characteristics of adverse drug reaction,treatment,clinical manifestations and treatment to provide reference for rational drug use in clinic.Methods 128 cases of adverse drug reaction carried out in our hospital in 2010 were retrospectively analyzed and summarized with statistical methods.Results Adverse drug reactions related to drugs 86 species including 30 kinds of anti-infective drugs,accounting for 34.9% of the total number of drugs,accounting for 44.5% of the total cases;eight kinds of Chinese medicine,accounting for 9.3% of the number of varieties of drugs,accounting for 6.3% of the total cases;intravenous route of administration infusion,accounting for 75%;common adverse events were skin and its appendages injury;serious adverse drug reactions accounted for 6%.Conclusion Adverse drug reactions are related to multiple factors,more susceptibly in elderly patients;ADR monitoring should be attached importance in clinic to reduce adverse drug reactions conducively.
