Clinical observation of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on early hemiplegia patients after stroke

Objective To Observe the efficacy of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training complex for the treatment of stroke patients in the early.Methods The 144 hemiplegia patients after stroke were randomly divided into drug group,the rehabilitation group,acupuncture combined with rehabilitation group,each given the appropriate treatment for 3 courses,and then to evaluate the efficacy by using Barthel index score and Brunnstrom functions.Results ADL of patients in acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training was improve significantly compared to the other two groups by Barthel index score,the longer course of treatment the better efficacy(P 0.01);The Brunnstrom motor function efficacy of limb shows,the upper and lower limbs athletic ability was better than the other two groups after the 2nd,3rd courses of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy(P 0.01);and the hand function began to recover from the 1st course of treatment,acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training works best.Conclusion The efficacy of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation on the treatment of hemiplegia patients after stroke was better than simple rehabilitation and drug treatment,the hand function recovery was earliest,it's helpful to improve the quality of life.
