Abstract
Objective To observed the effect of acupuncture and rehabilitation training on hemiplegic patients due to cerebral stroke. Methods 60 patients with acute stroke were divided into experimental group (based on the routine drug treatment, they were also treated with acupuncture and rehabilitation training 30 minute a day, n =30) and control group (treated with routine drug treatment, n =30). After 21days therapy, patients' Barthel index of ADL (activities of daily living) was evaluated. Results Barthel index of ADL in experimental group is significantly better than control group ( P 0.01). Conclusions ADL of patients with hemiplegic could be significantly improved by acupuncture and rehabilitation training.[
