Effect evaluation of preoperative psychological nursing intervention on stress status and anesthesia effect of patients received lumbar epidural anesthesia

Abstract
Objective To study the effect of preoperative psychological nursing intervention on stress state and anesthesia effect of patients received lumbar epidural anesthesia. Methods Patients received lumbar epidural anesthesia in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2012 were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group given preoperative psychological nursing intervention and control group given routine preoperative nursing.Then intraoperative stress index and anesthesia effect index were observed. Results(1)SAS, SDS, HAMA, HAMD score of observation group were lower than control group;(2)10,15,20,25min after anesthesia,NRS pain score of observation group were lower than control group. Conclusion Preoperative psychological nursing intervention has positive clinical value for it can relieve psychological stress and improve analgesic effect of anesthesia.
