From the "New Novels" to "Wusi Novels"——The Origin of Legend Narration and Chinese Modern Novels

Chinese modern originated in the background of the convergence of Chinese and foreign thought and the strife of modern and ancient conception.As the basic pattern of ancient Chinese and the narrative tradition of Heterogeneous homogeneity of Chinese and foreign literature,legend had made a direct impact on the emergence and the development of the narrative mode of the modern Chinese fiction. From the New novels to Wusi novels,a process,which constantly inherited the tradition legend narration and realized the transformation of it,had been formed.
