Experience of Orthotopic Liver Transplantation in 50 Pairs of Rats

Abstract

Objective: To study the technique and complication of orthotopic liver transplantation in rats. Methods: Orthotopic liver transplantation in 50 Wistar rats that accepted SD rats liver was established by using two-cuff method. Results: the survival rate of post-operation 24?h and one week was 90% and 82% respectively. Conclusion: Meticulous and skilled surgical technique is the key of successful operation.
