Abstract
Objective To establish the model of orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) in rats from which we could understand the operating procedure and summarize technique. Methods On the basis of the conventional two-cuff-technique, some operative procedures had been improved. Orthotopic liver transplantation was performed on 50 rats. Results The model of orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) in rats was established successfully, the successful rate of the method was 90%.Conclusion The method is convenient and easy which can be grasped easily by the beginning students.
