Abstract
Objective To investigate the characteristics of citations and articles in Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology.Methods The data about citations and articles of Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology form 2003 to 2005 were collected and analyzed in terms of bibliometric parameters.Results There were 332 papers published in Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology during 3 years and papers with funed projects accounted for 34.0%.The average citation rate was 91.3%,and 8.66 citations per article.Most of the citations were mainly cited form journals(96.1%)and books(3.7%).The average Price index was 48.2%,and the self-citation rate was 4.84%.The authors distributed in 28 mainland provinces,and 97.0% of whom shared with co-author,the cooperation rate was 4.47.Conclusions Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology is shown to be a high professional academic journal in Chna,with good novelty citations,high level of author education,and extensive social influence.
