Analysis of author groups of Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology from 2009 to 2013

Objective To investigate the characteristics of the author groups in Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology,with the aims to provide data references to those who runs or evaluates the Journal.Methods Bibliometric method was used to analyze the authors,their regions and organization distribution of 713academic papers published in Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology from 2009 to 2013.Results The quantity of authors who published their 713papers was 2713(included cooperators), involving 26provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities.The degree of cooperation was 3.81(2713/713), and the cooperation rate was 90.74%(647/713).The quantity of authors who published only one paper was 504(86.15%),of the total published papers,they accounted for 70.68%.And the quantity of authors with high yield and deep influence was 20;they published 87papers(12.20%).The 252papers were published from Beijing with the first rank,then 57from Shandong and 54from Shanghai.There were 14organizations that brought out over 10papers,of the total published papers,they accounted for 39.55%(282/713).Most of highly-quantities organizations are affiliated hospitals and teaching hospitals.Conclusions Chinese Journal of Neuroimmunology and Neurology has wide distribution of authors and high degree of cooperation.It is shown to be a high quality academic journal.The regional distribution and the core author team need to be expanded so as to improve its academic level and publication influence.
